As the Supervisory Medical Support Assistant(MSA) in the Medical Administration Service (MAS) at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, you will lead a team of non-supervisory employees in accomplishing multi-grade interval work. The incumbent is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising a variety of administrative and clerical functions necessary to provide quality and timely healthcare to our Veterans. The position serves as the Supervisory Medical Support Assistant assigned to the Outpatient Community Based Clinic/Satellite Clnics of MAS.

- Responsible for extracting and analyzing data to provide reports in support of performance measures to senior management.
- Directs and coordinates the activities of administrative staff assigned to the clinic areas and integrating workloads and assignments to fully utilize all available resources.
- Supervise a team of employees performing work at the GS 3-7 levels, providing guidance and technical direction necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit or team.

Experience: At least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level. Ability to provide the full range of administrative and supervisory duties which includes assignment of work, performance evaluations, selection of staff, and recommendation of awards and/or advancements. 2. Ability to collaborate, communicate, and demonstrate customer service and interpersonal skills with all healthcare professionals to ensure quality/continuity of care and ensure compliance with established policies and regulations. 3. Ability to provide briefings, orientations, staff development and training. 4. Ability to manage fiscal matters, forecast resource and equipment needs, and identify budget needs.
